Since its inception in 1982, EEASA has organised 22 International Conferences to deliberate on various environmental education and sustainability issues within the southern African context. One of the international conferences is the World Environmental Education Cogress in 2007. Part of the deliberations from some international conferences can be obtained on the websites below;

4th World Environmental Education Congress, Durban 2 - 6 July 2007

This is the first time that the World Environmental Education Congress comes to Africa, and it comes at a time when there are calls for revisiting our teaching and learning beyond the classroom.
